- The Glock Model 22 is a polymer-frame auto pistol chambered in .40 S&W. It is Austin Conrad‘s preferred sidearm, and he grabs one from his armory while preparing for his climactic encounter with his old brothers from the Rattlers MC. Austin likes the .40 S&W as a powerful handgun round that can also be fired through his H&K UMP-40 submachine gun, so he can carry extra rounds that may be used in either weapon. I gave Austin the Model 22 because I own that particular handgun myself. But I’m far from a firearms expert, so if a Glock wouldn’t really be the choice of a special forces veteran, that mistake is mine.
